I am an incoming Applied Scientist at Amazon AGI, where I will be working on post-training and alignment of multimodal foundation models. This work contributes to the Nova family of models including advanced multimodal systems such as Nova Sonic and large scale products like Alexa+ which serve millions of users worldwide. My research to date has centered on enhancing the factuality and forecasting capabilities of language models, and this naturally extends to my applied work at Amazon, where the goal is to ensure that foundation models are not only powerful but also reliable and adaptive in practice. Looking ahead I am interested in developing world models that can accurately represent and anticipate changes in the real world, and in exploring how such systems can form the foundation of next generation intelligent platforms that learn continuously, adapt to human needs, and enable richer interactions across digital and physical environments.
I am currently completing my PhD at Cambridge advised by Andreas Vlachos, where I also received my MPhil. Before Cambridge I completed my BSc from Edinburgh.
